outdoor connections

Outdoor Connections provides children and young people the opportunity to connect with nature, the environment and their local outdoor spaces. It provides opportunity for participants to try new things and learn new outdoor skills.

Our activities provide challenge and learning to participants and are delivered at our wildlife garden and outdoor activity space as well as in and around the community and makes use of our local parks and areas of outstanding natural beauty.

Activities can include; learning about the environment, scavenger hunts, outdoor cooking, sports and outdoor games, bug hunts, outdoor art and up-cycling projects, fire lighting, guided local walks and exploration, building bug hotels, woodwork and carving, learning about vegetation and planting, and gardening.
