In the Mix Project (ITMP) provides youth and community services across Somerset. We are based in Wiveliscombe and operate both within a local catchment area covering; Wellington, Wiveliscombe, Taunton, and the smaller villages across Taunton Deane and West Somerset and across the wider geograpical area of Somerset.
ITMP provides professional youth work support and advice to young people, relating to issues prevalent to themselves, their communities and their environment. We offer youth provision based on core youth work principles and values to young people.
Our programmes provide informal educational activities and positive experiences that enhance learning alongside personal, social, emotional and professional development, as well as expanding skills and experiences, boosting self-esteem and confidence while promoting teamwork and citizenship. We are flexible in our approach, ensuring that the activities that we offer are relevant to the young people we work with.

Our aim is to help young adults learn and develop through informal educational activities which combine enjoyment, challenge and learning. ITMP will work with young people and communities, to create opportunities, provide positive activity & encourage social action. It is our vision to support young people achieve and develop in their young lives. We will do this by undertaking the following;
Our delivery operates within strict & clear policies, guidelines and health & safety protocols, and is undertaken by qualified and DBS Checked practitioners & instructors. We ensure that all safeguarding matters are responded to and dealt with professionally.
In The Mix Project is a recognised provider with Somerset Council and are an endorsed EV4 Alternative Curriculum Provider. We are also part of UK Youth’s Movement and have undertaken their quality assurance mark. Some of our programmes are certified by various bodies such as Duke of Edinburgh’s Award & Support Youth UK. We also work in partnership with other agencies including the National Youth Agency, UK Youth, and Somerset Active Sports Project.
