In The Mix "Friends"

In The Mix “Friends” is all about gaining more support for what we do and how we do it. As an In The Mix Volunteer, you can get directly more involved in what we do locally and help to support our charity. By becoming a member you can;

  • Help to raise vital funds
  • Volunteer in a variety of roles
  • Build awareness of our work and activity
  • Attend local events and meetings
  • Support us develop networks
  • Champion young people’s needs
  • Grow support through making and growing “friends”

Creating a pool of support will help us help spread the work of In The Mix in the area, ensure fundraising and publicity events run as smoothly as possible and ensure that we remain connected and learn from our community. You’ll be a valued part of our Volunteer Team, raising awareness, support, and funds.

VOLUNTEER FOR US!!

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for us, and supporting our organisations needs or young people, then please do get in touch. Volunteers can bring extra skills and experiences into our provision, adding additional opportunities and experiences for young people to channel.

Voluntary roles also support our overall development and sustainment. Any voluntary help will contribute to the work of In The Mix Project and help us meet our charitable objectives.

We are currently seeking support in the following areas. If you are interested in any of the below roles, please complete a In The Mix “Friends” E.O.I Form;

  • In The Mix Friend Volunteer; support our events and fundraising efforts.  The kind of support we are looking for could be anything from spreading the word about an event and helping to sell tickets, or making tea and coffee at an event, or even helping put up flyers in your local area.  
  • Volunteer Youth Worker; support youth and community provision and find out more about the challenges faced by young people. This role provides the opportunity to gain experience and develop skills working with young people, supporting them develop and grow through exciting and challenging programmes.
  • Volunteer Handyperson; help to maintain our venues and resources for the future.
  • Volunteer Driver/s; work with young people who face issues caused by rurality and poverty, and those affected by the increased cost of living.
  • Volunteer Gardener/s; support us to develop and maintain our wildlife garden and outdoor activity space to support outdoor learning.
  • Volunteer Collector/s; support us by collection donations and freebies received from local people and businesses.
  • Volunteer Minute Secretary; support our charity to develop and thrive within this role working with our board.
