The core network is an exciting opportunity enabling young people aged 13-19 to get actively involved and have a say on what happens regarding their services and within their communities.
Our charity is overseen by a board of trustees who watch over everything we do, and we want young people to be involved in that process. The network consist of young people from the Taunton Deane area working collectively to support services offered by ITMP as well as other young people in their locality through volunteering, social action, training and events.
What is a Core Member:
Young people will have the opportunity to engage with other peers, gain new skills and experiences, and support the delivery of programmes and activities in their communities. They will work as ambassadors, leaders and facilitators of programmes and events.
Young people will also be involved in consultations and help shape and design new projects as well as working throughout our organisations at corporate events, interview panels, discussion groups and much more.
What are the benefits:
Core members will earn “Core Credits” for their contributions which they will be able to transfer into positive activity, team events and trips. Want to get involved?
